What we store

• Your account: name, email address and a hashed password.
• The people, relationships and notes you and your moderators add to a tree.
• Who a tree is shared with, their role, and a log of changes made to the tree.

Who can see a tree

Only the tree’s creator and the members they share it with. Trees are not public, are excluded from search engines and are not shown to other members. Please get consent before adding sensitive details about living relatives.

Your choices

The creator can revoke anyone’s access or delete the whole tree at any time from the Sharing page. To close your account, email info@gefami.com.
